The Force-Elite Edge
A righteous man regardeth the life of his
beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel. (Proverbs
12:10)
We
know that a lot of people are breeding and selling American
Staffordshire Terrier puppies, and some are selling them for much less. But
don’t let dollar signs blind you to the facts. “You get what you pay for”
applies to puppies too!
Our dogs are bred 100% on the highly sought after AKC champion
Edelhaus
bloodline (Edelhaus X Edelhaus), and a quick look at our dog's pedigrees
will quickly demonstrate a very special lineage for these spectacular
puppies! You'll find not only Edelhaus' prized blood in these pups, but
Gaff's, Benmar, Nobel, and more!
Because we don't show our dogs in the ring, we sell them for a somewhat
lower price than those who do, but make no mistake: these are AmStaffs of
the highest quality, and were we to enter our dogs in AKC show competition,
they would quickly earn their championship titles. Of that we have
absolutely no doubt, and you won't either once you've had a look at them!
One thing we want you to know: We are hobbyist
breeders. We don't do this for a living, we don't do it to earn a little
extra money. What you see happening here is truly and purely a labor of
love.
The singular reason puppy mill operators own dogs is to
produce and sell more dogs. Volume sales are key to profits. Diets,
veterinary care, whelping environment and a dozen other costs are minimized
in order to keep the price of puppies low. Yes, the minimal requirements for
producing sellable puppies are met, but these pups’ potentials are not being
realized. Generally speaking they are smaller, weaker, less healthy and less
intelligent than they had the potential to be when they were born.
Not so at Force-Elite. For us, breeding is a labor of
love, for our own dogs and for this noble breed as a whole. After over 25
years of owning and loving these noble creatures, the litter of puppies born
to us on Dec 5 2011 is the very first we’ve ever produced. It will also be
the last for at least 2 years, and quite possibly the one and only litter of
puppies that will ever be born to either Colonel Klink or Crimson Kinetica.
We will preserve the exclusivity of the genetic material that made these
pups, both for our own sakes and for yours! There is nothing common about
our dogs, and we want to keep it that way.
Unlike puppy mill breeders,
who despite even the best intentions are unable to approach this level of
nurturing, we put our wallets and our
hands & backs where our hearts are. No expense has been spared in the care
and nurturing of your Force-Elite puppy, nor has any amount of effort!
Your
puppy’s diet has been supplemented with expensive
colostrum containing milk
replacements from week one.
Colostrum is a special milk product that mama
only produces right after the litter is born. By the 3rd or 4th
feeding, it is no longer present in mama’s milk at any appreciable level. It
is crucial to your puppy’s well-being for many reasons, including your
puppy’s first immunity boost. It also signals all your puppy’s organs that it has in fact been born
and jump starts them for proper functioning outside the womb, while
triggering the explosive muscular and skeletal growth seen in the first
weeks of life. Your Force-Elite puppy received twice daily supplements
for the first 4 weeks and was fed this formula exclusively from 4-6 weeks. One
look at our pups and you’ll see the difference! Average cost: $30/day.
Now that your puppy has been weaned, he or she is
feasting on some of the very best premium puppy food in the world, namely
Blue Buffalo
puppy food. You won’t find it in the pet food aisle at Wal-Mart or your
local grocery store, and you definitely won’t find it in most breeders’
pantries, but it’s worth every penny for the results we’ve gotten with it.
We’ve used it exclusively for our adult dogs for years, and people are still
stopping their cars in the middle of the street to snap pictures and ask
about them. It happens all the time! And by the way, that means that your
Force-Elite puppy has been “eating” the same stuff since he or she was
conceived! The results in healthy, fit, awesome looking dogs and
puppies speak for themselves. Cost: about $50 per bag.
Diet isn’t the only difference in your Force-Elite
puppy’s favor though. Your dog’s intelligence is greatly impacted during the
first few weeks and months of life, and we’ve spared no expense, effort or
inconvenience to make sure that you and your new puppy will hit the ground
running!
Like human babies, baby dogs need an enriched
environment and lots of room to run and play in order for their brains and
bodies to develop to their full potential. This is not possible in a small
whelping box like the ones commonly found at breeder facilities and for sale
at pet supply stores. Not only has your Force-Elite
puppy been raised in our home with our family (two and four-legged alike)...
They’ve actually been raised right in our living room, with running room to
spare, constant contact with humans and other dogs, and surrounded by lots
of novel sensory input of every kind. This allows and encourages your
puppy’s brain to develop to its full potential, creating and pruning
synapses and synaptic pathways, and laying a solid groundwork for
his or her continued training and socialization after going home with you..
That’s in stark contrast with mass-puppy-producers and
even most small-scale quality breeders. Because they have so many dogs, even
those with the best intentions are unable to devote this kind of effort and
attention or these kinds of resources to each puppy. Because they need to
sell a lot of puppies to earn a living, they simply must keep their costs
down in order to keep prices low enough to sell every pup quickly, and they
need to spread their resources and attention much thinner. Unfortunately,
the dietary and environmental compromises required to stay profitable come
at a cost to the puppy and its future owner. Puppies bred and whelped in
merely adequate conditions will never fulfill their full physical or
cognitive potential.
We hope the information we’ve presented here and
elsewhere at our site has been helpful to you as you make a momentous
decision about your future friend, companion and partner. If you have

and possibly only Colonel Klink X Crimson Kinetica litter, please
